Review: Tweed Flat Cap by Curzon Classics - Tweed Closeups Included

Hi tweed lovers, There is nothing like a really great tweed flat cap to keep one's head warm and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worst.  Knit caps, hoods, and a good fur or wool felt hat all have their place in in the classic man's wardrobe, but without a great tweed flat cap, so far as I'm concerned, there is a large hole in a man's headgear options.  This snappy looking flat cap from Curzon Classics will is just the thing to warm a mans head on a cold afternoon on the moors (OK, we have no moors here in Germany, but we've got a lot of countrysides that gets pretty cold too).   Based in Seville Spain, Curzon Classics has been making great classic British men's wear since 1990.  Twenty-seven years in business have taught them well about providing great products and great service.

This one is Tweed Cap No. 8 - a great looking houndstooth tweed in autumnal shades including greens, tan, brown, orange and red, so it's easy to match with just about any tweed jacket I choose.

A quality built from a beautifully woven tweed that's been Teflon treated for waterproofness, and with a light green lining, this cap will keep you warm, dry and extremely stylish through just about anything mother nature wants to throw your way.  Curzon Classic is having a great 20% sale right now off their already very reasonable prices, so now's a great time to add to your stylish hear wear options without breaking the bank.  I've purchased a number of great pieces from Curzon Classics over the past couple of years (plenty of reviews to come) and have been satisfied with both their service and their quality.

The closeups for my tweed obsessed brethren:
